Naseer completed a BSc in (Biotechnology, Chemistry & Zoology), and a MSc in Biochemistry at the University of Bangalore. He obtained his Ph.D. in Bioinformatics from the National Centre for Biological Sciences in 2017. He's a joint postdoc between the Samarajiwa lab and Prof Sowdhamini Ramanathan at the NCBS, Tata Institute of Fundamental Research on a DBT-MRC joint centre fellowship. His work at the Samarajiwa lab focuses on identifying signatures of metabolic remodeling in cancer.
