Denisa is a final year Biomedical Science masters student at UCL. Her research project at the Samarajiwa lab utilized data integration, genomics, and machine learning applied to understand how RNA-DNA hybrid chromatin structures known as R-loops affect DNA repair mechanisms, structural aberrations, and mutations.
